I am male, 23, 145 lbs, 5'8.
So far I have bought a bar, some adjustable dumbells, weights and a bench press that has 3 adjustable positions.
I have been told that a power rack should be my next purchase, but I am going to hold off on that because, good ones are expensive, and I am just not into weightlifting enough to use one.
However, I am thinking of buying another piece of equipment for doing my abs, and for my back workout. The piece of equipment I am talking about is a free standing pull-up bar with a station for doing captains chair ab crunchs.
I am sure some of you know the piece I am talking about. I am just wondering if this would be a good investment? I can get a fairly heavy duty one for $100. Its used of course, but that does not matter.
I basically want this piece for doing pull-ups and ab excercises.
Also, just to make things clear, I am more interested in getting toned and adding some strenght then putting on a lot of bulk.
