this has puzzled me from the beginning and still does now!I still dont know how to create my own workouts for pure strength and mass?i would like to start and build my own, with exercises like the power clean, deadlifts etc...i.e powerexercises. All i need is a basic understanding of how to create them so i am not over training and stuff,it would be easy to get a pre-made program but i would like to do my own!I am doing WSFSB at the moment and loving it but in a month or so i wish to use my own routine!Maybe you experts could enlighten me on how you guys do it?jp,dking, lou etc...i would greatly Appreciate your help and take in all your advice,i am not wasting your time or anything i want to learn so i can be more confident!I wish to improve my strenght more than anything,i want my lifts like the bench, dead and squat to be doubled by the end of the year,i would like the bench to be the priority as i have stopped at 120kgs any advice would be great guys!

Joel Marion's FBF & FBFL
Chad Waterbury's TBT

Both of them make u to choose ur own exercises.

MF's articles like Muscle Prescription, Body Part Training Is Dead, & Muscles By Design (Alwyn Cosgrove) give u the simple guidelines to create ur own program. Even Chad's latest article, The Set/Rep Bible, gives u foundation about setting up ur own program. I myself use CW's approach to creating my own program. Or to make it easy, just do the pre-made programs by the experts .

I usually start with a premade program and add or delete exercises or substitute comparable exercises based on my own personal goals, schedule, or current weaknesses and preferences.

Try some explosive oly lifts to get gains in power.

Hopefully you read the articles that were pointed out for you because they are excellent.

Not to water it down too much, but a good training program should be balanced along movement planes and push/pull as to not cause or exacerbate muscular imbalances that can lead to injuries, and also be set up with a volume suitable for the trainee’s ability to complete the workout and recover.

Lots of stuff about rep/set ranges and such in the tmag article archives too
