If yes, what did you think? I've been going deeper lately just for the greater ROM. I got to where I like it, too, so I guess that keeps me doing it.
By the way, I do front squats. I got started doing them that way and have just kept it up. I guess because I'm relatively tall (6'3") I was taught to use the heel block for balance (?). Again, I've kept doing it "just because." Also, there's a great drawing of a guy doing them with the block in _Strength_Training_Anatomy_ so I figured it can't be all bad.
I noticed that King doesn't think it's a good idea, however. Lately, I've noticed that I'm more comfortable
and more balanced when I don't use the block, which was surprising.
Anyway, would love to hear what others think about the need to go deep and other squat-related stuff.
