It seems to me that certain body types will respond to different types of workouts better, someone that is long and lean will respond to higher rep workouts and someone short and stout will respond to lower rep workouts..
Clearly, my opinion is not scientific it just seems to make sense,, So if this is true (and if not please correct me),, is it then resonable to assume that a person whose body type predisposes them to a certain type of workout is basically wasting their time trying to change it..
For example my body type seems to respond best to low rep workouts, I find that when I try higher rep workouts I tend to have much slower results (if any) and seem to be more prone to Injury.. Again I have not done an in-depth study about this, but from my few years in the gym this seems to hold true..
I was just curious if I was completly out of line or what you guys thought of this....
