Were you hanging out in the Health forums? Do they even have the Health forum still? I'll bet that's a popular name there.
Don't get me started about the guy and the pumpkin......

What a mess MH forums have become.
JP - do you have a patent (is there such a thing?) for your web page layout? Cause I gotta tell ya, looks to me like they done went and came over here, copied your layout, add some bells and whistles (and Karma points whatever the hell that is) and called it their own.
I've no respect for someone who can't come up with something original and MH is slowly losing any ounce of respect I had left. Alas, like most of you said, that's where I first found my "support group" and I will probably never leave, but I seriously suspect JP can look for a boom in registered users soon.
my 2 cents.

I haven't seen the new forums cause they don't appear functional to me.
I would have been very surprised if they looked much different than JPs which is
Powered by Infopop Corporation
UBB.classic™ 6.7.1
And MensHealth was also using an infopop service.
Personally I don't care what the forums look like. What I do care, is if they work, if they allow us to share information easily. The real measure of a forums is obviously the people that post.
JPs place and MH will always be far different environements no matter how similar they look.

As Mahler noted, his e-mail was being filtered and deleted automatically.
If you have it set up to delete junk mail upon arrival that's probably where your e-mail is going.
I was also having this problem.
Essentially before the reset I could get the password from "jive" without having an issue with it being sorted as junk mail. I was also able to recieve the notification that forums were up and operational without it being sorted as junkmail. The password retreival e-mail however was being sorted out as crap for some reason.

Is vudu still around over there? That would be reason enough for me to post every now and then.

"Wow! If you're looking to inspire people, head over to the MF forums! They're sorely in need over there. It's like all the grownups have left..."
I started posting over there when Adam Campbell went over and really felt like an outsider. They have a tight group that doesn't take to fresh ideas.

I doubt I will ever leave MH forums. I personally started my journey there and it symbolizes something for me.
Can I understand why some people might hate the place and not want to go there? Hell yes. I have had the same thought.
Either way, no reason we can't support both forums.

Og,
I feel the same way and am really disgusted at the way things have worked out. I am now in the forum and they have lost all my posts and post count. I am a newbie. All my hard work with the motivators and such is gone. And the forum is really no better than the old one IMO.

Maybe I'll make it back and hang out there sometime. Kinda like visiting the old neighborhood.

Just checked it out. I love this line on the MH.com front page:
"We remodelled the forums, built a new wing for Abs Diet and sports injuries, and rewired the search just to name a few improvements."
Boy, does that bring back some memories!

That tight group is gone. It's almost as if the newbies are now the "veterans" over there.
There are some people with good info, but it's often overwhelmed by a ton of other stuff... I think that the people with the best info get discouraged and stop posting.
