Hey guys! Seeing as how lots of guys are around here, and I can't even log on to MH, I'll share here!

Today I pulled my first 300 pounder! No record in the lifting world, of course, but it was my goal number for the end of the summer. And here I am, in mid-June, already there!

Thanks to BoM!

Congratulations!! That is really awesome Rock!

What is your goal for the future max? I haven't gotten heavy in years (not over 225 anyway). I wonder what I can actually do now that I'm a has-been washed up old man!

Thanks JP!

My short-term goal now is 350 but the end of summer (which is the end of August in my mind) and 400 by Christmas.

Maybe that's asking a lot... but that's the way I've always pushed myself.

And somehow I doubt "has-been washed up old man" applies to you!

In my late 20's I was pulling 405. Now I doubt I could get 315! Course, at my age and stage of life (three rambunctious kids, plus a busy and stressful business), I count myself to be lucky to have my injuries under control enough to get some good workouts in at all, and that is actually good enough for me.

Yeah, man. It's all about perspective. If you're happy with what you're doing with what you've got, then you're all set!
