Hi all, just updated the old site - butternut squash recipe (mmmm), and a review of Met-RX Big 100 bars.

If anyone wants to write a review, send it my way and I'll add it to next weeks update!

Wow... That looks like an EXCELLENT recipe John! Thanks. I am shopping for those ingredients this weekend.

Why are the carbs so high? It doesn't look like you are using anything particularly high in carbs. You aren't using that much bread. I guess its the apples. I noticed that since the Atkins craze has started, food companies have been listing their "NET CARBS" to prevent scaring carb-watchers away from their products. I am not sure what I think about this practice. Anyway, how would you apply it to this, considering amount of fiber in your recipe?

Great post... Thanks!

Hope you like it JP!

The carbs are from good sources, like the squash and apples. That whole net carb thing is fishy, because I think there is no standardized rule. Some people just subtract fiber, others include only sugar in their net carb counts. But at any rate, I wouldn't be scared of the carbs in this dish, and if you are cutting, you could eat a whole one of the chicken breasts and a third of the casserole.

Let me know how you like it
