im still cutting until i get down to about 8% bf (at 10% right now), but id like to start focusing on increasing my strength so that when i start to try to gain mass i will have that advantage. ive been looking through some programs because honestly i dont trust myself to create my own, and i was pointed to ripped, rugged and dense 2. the program looks alright, and im thinking of trying it out but my concern is that i would only be doing two exercises a day (which to me doesnt seem like it would be enough although i may be wrong) and also that ive been avoiding isolation exercises but this program lists db curls and calf raises. any suggestions?

Its a good program. Follow it as written. A lot of people have gotten results with it.

Hey im always keeping my eye open for a good alternate future program and I liked this routine. It keeps some big compound lifts in it, and I like the idea of hitting the gym in steady spurts but for smaller 25-30 minute periods.

I wonder what the fat burning qialities of such a routine really are?

I would like to know if anyone else had success with this routine!?!

I suppose I could add a bit to my post. I might have been a bit drunk when I first posted.

The isolation work: Its not evil. I do a ton of tricep stuff and some bicep or chest stuff when neccessary. It just shouldn't be the bulk of the program.

The small amount of exercises: If I am correct, and its been a bit since I have read the program, the idea is to hit the gym much more often. So you go more frequently for less time. All the feedback I have heard has been good, but I haven't exactly searched around.

It is set up in such a manner that you could go to the gym continuously.

At first I thought Day 1 was a little underwhelming, but I found the program hypnotic and soon grew to enjoy it.

If you can go to the gym often, but for short periods of time, this would be a good program to follow.

BTW Danny, your take on isolation exercises seems bang on to me.

Great program. Set up to get you in and out of the gym frequently . This leaves you more time to focus on your cardio. If you follow it to the T, you will be sore from only two exercises per day.

Wonderful program. My Pecs become more dense & cut. My biceps & triceps got bigger in 2 weeks. I used to not be able to do 5 Dips with my own bodyweight, now i can do 10 KG weighted Dip for a full 5x5. I can lift 48 KG more on my Deadlift & still increasing. I'm a lot stronger now. & all this happen in only 2 weeks . Thanx to David for introducing me to the program.
