I do abs every other day and right now they are pretty strong although I have 1.5 inches of fat on top of them.
What are some hard ab routines you guys do? Have any of you tried any good circuits lately?

I will be the first to say, keep doing those core routines. I strongly believe that the core is the most important part of your body.

Just an FYI, ab routines are not going to give you a visible six pack, that is mainly determined by your bf% HOWEVER, this doesn't mean that you should stop doing your core routines.

As for circuit training, Phase I of HGM is a killer circuit. It will help you drop your bf% and some pounds and might make your abs more visible.

Remember, keep doing those core routines, they are extremely important. Remember to include your lower back in them too.

Check out the t-nation ab workouts "ab training for athletes and babehounds" or something similar. Both by Christian Thib. If you search over there you will find them.
