I've come across a wonderful product. It calculates lab accurate information of body functions while doing aerobic training: EPOC, VO2 max, respiration, energy expenditure...

More at www.suuntot6.com

Or actually you get them after workout when you run the data through the Training Manager.

I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve his training effect but is not sure how.

Does anyone else have similar or opposite experiences of the product?

Similar experiences? We haven't heard about your experiences yet. How much has it improved your training? How about posting your lab accurate information from a few training sessions? What uses do you get out of it other than seeing what you did? How does it improve a persons training effect?

How does a wrist unit measure oxygen consumption? And caloric expenditure? How does it measure respiration (breaths/min) and ventilation (liters of oxyegn/min) if it's on your wrist? It seems like it would be using a series of algorithms to "guesstimate" these values based on an "average" person. I don't see how this could be anywhere near as accurate as a series of lab tests.
