Another three hundred done today. Only one more of those left, and I can drop down to the same two hundred everyone else is doing. I need to figure out how to get my 18kg KB to work tomorrow (on the motorcycle) since I have a long, late day--no way I'm getting in a workout afterward, so I'll have to do them throughout the day.

Finally got 200 swings done by spreading them throughout the day. Did 25 swings w/the 20-lb. kb in the morning, and instead of running tonite, I did a strength workout, incorporating 2-arm and 1-arm swings (using the 26-lb. kb).
Sooo, I feel like crap today, so I did wind up sticking basically with this plan. I used one of the gallons of distilled white vinegar at the house, assuming that liquid will weigh approximately the same by volume.
(yes, I keep gallons of white vinegar at my house . .. so what?)

I actually thought the same thing when he posted it specifically as skim.
Also, I was feeling not good today (chills, etc) and I threw up earlier, so I decided not to go to the gym in case I got sick again. (This is why I did an improvised swing session again)
If I had waited a bit to throw up, I could have done it at the gym and been the one that actually did get the visit by Mr.Pukey while working out.
It might have been worth it, just for the infamy involved.

I got my 200 in today with a 16KG bell: 4 sets of 25 right and 25 left. But it has been an every other day thing for me so far; didn't know about it on Sunday, passed out immedately after Rugby pratice on Tuesday, and took a huge deadleg in Rugby pratice on Thursday that I didn't even attempt them. Could barely manevour the stairs half way through today, but got my swings in tonight: hips, not quads, they were ok.
Broke the streak of missing every other day a few hours ago when I did todays swings. 16Kg, 3 sets of 30 right and 30 left, and a set of 10 right and 10 left to round out the 200. Tomorrows plan is to get it done in 3 sets: 35, 35, 30, all sets of right then left using the 16Kg bell.

I would like to know how many exercises are fitted under this heading. I have been using the ones in the example videos, but I see other things in other logs.
Is there a handy dandy link where one can view such wonderful exercises?

No problem, I just wanted to make sure that I was not missing some jewel of information here.
The swings are fine, my upper legs are staying sore, I suppose that is what the idea is.
Yep.
A lot of us are doing kb and other routines, in addition, so it might look like we're counting other things into the 200. I'm not, and sometimes 200 at the end of the day is not something I look forward to. I'm going to try my hardest to get them done before I go to work, instead!

I am: lateral swings, vertical swings, swipes, etc. If I didn't, I'd feel a little one-dimensional, and do you know how hard it is to just be a line?

Got all 200 done today, 3 sets with the 16Kg: 35, 35, 30; all sets right hand then left hand. And all big swings, as I always do, about 45 degrees above horizontal. I am going to try some with the 24Kg this coming week and keep to more conventional swing heights and compare the difficulity.
Day 8: 200 16kg swings 10x (10l/10r) 1 set per minute + jump rope for remainder of minute
Way sweatier after this. Might keep them at 16s with the Jump rope.

I started the challenge on Thursday, 200 each day since then. So far so good. I might try to just do 30 days worth since I started late.
I have been doing mostly two handed sets of either 25 or 50 with a 20# db so far. I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket that I might use to purchase an actual kettlebell this week
The purpose of the challenge is to do this on a daily basis as a supplement to your training program with 10 minutes of effort. Should you do 20 swings and rest for the remainder of the minute there is a small challenge to start the momentum again. As well the physiological effect is close to a 1 to 1 work to rest ratio. The same with a 10 swing resting for the remainder of the 30 seconds, but this is more difficult in some ways. I find it easier to do higher volume swings as the intensity is low but volume high. By completing the 31 day or November challenge, you can learn from the experience when it is done.
I would be interested to hear your experience with 6000 swings in 1 day!
30 a minute. It was 3.34 hours straight, while the rest of us ate lunch, fished, and played frisbee. It would have only been 3.33 hours, but he had to rechalk once.
Just joking. I've been out of the country and hadn't touched the bells in 2 weeks. Yesterday just did some double jerks, some snatching, and random juggling w rope climbs interspersed. Oh, and played frisbee. That should equal about 6000 swings I figure
