Question

I just started the RR&D workout and don't feel like I'm getting as much out of it.
When I first started working out I would be on a five day routine. Each day I would work a different muscle, and do 5 exercises for each. 5 chest on Monday, 5 back on Tuesday, 5 shoulders on Wednesday, etc... I would really feel a good burn in the muscle and felt like I got a lot out of it.
With RR&D, I work to exhaustion each time so I'm pushing a lot of weight, but I don't feel the same burn or pump I used to.

I was wondering if anyone thought it would be bad to add another exercise to each muscle for each day or if this would be useless? The article on RR&D makes it sound like the shortness of each day is part of the allure and benefit of this workout. So I didn't know if I would be doing more harm than good. But I also want to make sure that I'm getting enough out of each workout.

Any suggestions? or anyone out there been on RR&D and liked or disliked it?

Thanks.

Youre not supposed to feel a mad pump on this routine. The purpose is to hit the muscle as frequently as possible without causing too much damage to it when on a calorie deficit (cutting). That way you can preserve muscle size and strength during a cutting phase.
