Wondering what your thoughts are on single leg stiff legged deadlifts vs the normal two leg version.

The reason that I ask is that my new workout program has some days that I can complete at home except that it contains stiff legged deadlifts. I recognize that the amount of weight would go down, but I'd assume that I'd get additional benefits.

Your thoughts?

There's another variant of single-leg DLs in which you try to keep the up leg beside the down leg and are allowed to round your back significantly until you start adding significant weight. I did these awhile back and really liked them. For strength and coordination, go with two legs. For balance and stability, one leg.
