When I went through my diet phase and prior to my diet phase I never did any ab work what so ever. I am at a pretty low body fat (8-9%) and training purely for srength gains currently (and for the rest of my life no doubt) and I began doing abdominal strengthening exercises regularly. You guys that know me know I don't really give a shit about a six pack but oddly enough I am starting to get one. And oddly enough since I have been trying to eat maintenance I have been losing body fat maintaining lean body mass or even gaining it.

I have been doing bent knee hanging leg raises for sets of 2 6-10 reps and ab pulldowns sets of 2 6-10 reps. But on top of all of this I have been doing a ton of compound movements (a lot of deadlift and squat variations) which cause for me to flex my abs all the time as well. I will post pictures asap. But thought a lot of you might want to hear this. All I have cared about is strength and it's giving me aesthetics without even thinking about it, pretty cool, go for athletic goals and the aesthetic goals will come by themselves with proper diet is my self conclusion.
