The MensHealth Poster Series: Homegrown Muscle was pretty good...

http://www.menshealth.com/cda/articl...-0-199,00.html

A small group of us (that followed this series) came from the MensHealth forums to JP's forum...

I saw pretty good results...maybe some others can speak to their results

I'm in week 5 of Homegrown Muscle and the first month was pretty cool. I can already see some results over my general physique.

The Testosterone Advantage Plan (TAP via louschuler.com (one of the authors))

Great nutrition advice and a good workout to get you started.

I would second HGM. I am getting good results. It is challenging, and most of the phase (except 1 & 6) are 4 weeks, so there is a lot of variety to keep it interesting. It also is almost a year long so you do not need to worry about the next program for a while.

One more thing, it is called Homegrown Muscle because you can do it at home with minimal equipment.

Gonna say TAP.

An enjoyable read covering all the basics.

It's a Rosetta stone that lets you understand the more complicated routines and diet info you'll need to follow later.

And it has decent results too!

I have to say HGM. It is a well balanced program and it hits you with lots of different variations. I went through it 2 times and was very pleased with it. It has a good bit of core work in it which really fixed some lower back problems that I was having. The later phases 6-10 were my favorites.

Im gonna throw BoM Beginner into the mix. The book itself is a wonderful read (its packed full of knowledge). The workouts at the end are 6 months and are very challenging.
