Default What Kettlebell exercise would you do for 2min intervals?

I have interval EST this program. One is 60secs/2min rest the other is 2min/2min. I did swings last night for the 60 sec intervals...what should I do for the 2min intervals? 2mins seems like a long time for swings, plus I want to vary it up a bit.

Thanks!!

I like to do clean and presses. Or figure-8's.

Presses for 2 minutes gets hard if you are using enough weight, so I'd go for one arm clean and push press/jerk. You'll hit post chain with the clean and ant chain, both upper and lower body on the push press. Switching hands each minute is a good idea with a heavier load.

Have fun Cappy!

Thanks y'all! I'l probably start out pretty conservatively with the weight...like the arm switching idea @ 1 min!

I'm starting to feel lean & fit just thinking about it

Guess that demon surfer looks like a chick?
Or perhaps Cappy's & my avatars are being confused.

^^ This is the first time I've ever looked hard enough at the avatar to see the demon - I just didn't see him before. Now I can't not see him.

i would do clean+jerks for the 60sec one, and swings for the 2 minutes.

I always thought it looked like a red ice cream cone on a wave. It still kinda does, honestly.

But whatever floats your boat I reckon.

Like I told Russ, you need to get the baby working on her kettlebell form.

Two whole minutes? Crap, with my conditioning I could like roll a KB around with my foot for two minutes, maybe. Or pretend it's a target and use my finger-guns to pretend-shoot it while yelling "BANGBANG!". Or "pewpew" if I use my pinky.

For intervals, I would likely do cleans or clean and press, as was already mentioned. But getting in 2:00 of swings is highly advisable.

Thanks guys. I did the clean/jerk tonight. It was pretty good level, although I only used 1min rest. First time to do them so was trying to get form, will work on getting them faster or using heavier KB.

I can already see the results in your avatar. The de-aging effect is incredible - is there nothing kettlebells can't do?!
