Default Exercise substitution?

Does anyone know of a good substitution for the Prone jackknife?

I'm about to begin stage 1 of the NROL workout, but my gym recently got rid of all their Swiss balls and medicine balls (when I asked employees why, the only response I got was "the whole chain has gotten rid of them, we're one of the last gyms to have kept them").

I do have a swiss ball and dumbbells at home, but I prefer to do my lifting at the gym when I can. I'm not sure if it would be more beneficial for me to find substitutions for the Swiss-ball exercises that are part of alternating sets, or for me to leave the alternating sets until I get home (in other words, do exercises A, B1, and B2 at the gym, then go home and do C1 and C2)

I take my own swiss ball to the gym most of the time. I just carry it in with me.

However, I do live right upstairs from the little apartment gym that I go to, and sometimes I just do the other stuff, then run up the stairs and finish off the last sets in my apartment.

I am terrible at the step downs, so I would rather embarrass myself privately in the comfort of my own home anyway. lol

Yeah, I'd just "donate" a swiss ball to your gym and have it there.

or bring it along with you, some people at my gym do that even though there are several swiss balls available. Try to fit the prone jackknife in because it doesn't compare to the crunches or anything - it just kills your abs!

Reverse crunches (flat or on an incline) or hanging knee-ups, rollouts with your feet holding the ab roller come to mind.
