Question Muscle building program which has worked great for me, but??

hey.. James here.. Lil about me- I'm a hardgainer standing at 6'2 who started at about 135 lbs... I remember for the longest time it seemed almost as if my body refused to allow me to gain much if any muscle mass whatsoever.. I probably spent about 4-5 months of frivelous weight training every other day trying to build muscle to pretty much no avail.. Eventually I came across the muscle building program at _______. which I'm sure many of you also have and had similar success as I've had with it. After being on the program for a little while now I've finally seen massive progress and am currently at 165 lbs .. added 30 lbs of muscle in a relatively short amount of time. But my question is, as I'm sure many of you who are doing Vince's program know.. he doesn't exactly endorse any muscle building supplements and believes they are basically useless and way over-hyped. Now, although I've already had massive success with his program and trust his advice.. I find it hard to believe that there isn't ANY effective supplement out there which can promote significant muscle gain. I know first hand that most are bogus and give fraudulent claims.. but I know there has to be SOMETHING out there which really works. Am I wrong in this assumption? Have any of you experienced significant added results with the help of a muscle growth promoting supplement?? Any advice / comments / suggestions would be much appreciated.. and I'm not interested in any narcotic steroids either.. thanks!

I'm going to flag this one as spam, but I wish I could mock it more effectively.

I think I know a mass gaining system just as effective. It's called a sandwich.

Vince Delmonte's training system is basically nothing but DC Training packaged up with a new name and a stupider training split.

Oh and lots of BIG FONTS AND HIGHLIGHTING as if he wrote the book the way he wrote the sales page.

Narcotic steroids??

I guess those would make you big and ripped but you'd be so mellow you wouldn't care.

The sangwich is the most. You can pack it with endless combos of proteins, fats and carbs. They can be 300 cals or 800 cals or more. Talk about controlling your nutritional intake.

Save your money and spend some of it on sangwich fixings

I don't think they will be allowed to sell supplements if it's completely useless. there's been way too many studies that proved it otherwise. I don't like steroids and think its super unhealthy, but supplements are FINE.

I think of it as a "tool" in bodybuilding. I don't think you can really get good results without it.

Lots of things are sold that are bad for you or do absolutely nothing for you. Supplements are no different. There are a few supplements that have been mostly proven to work (fish oil, creatine and whey come to mind), but they are not required or even necessary for someone to get good results from working out and eating right.
