Default Soreness in Brachioradialis. Could it be Single Leg Squats?

I'm not posting this in the injuries/rehab forum, because it's not really a injury related question. It's more of a "Whats at work here?" question. Mods, If you think that it belongs there instead please move it.

After doing my workout on Wednesday I'm feeling pretty sore in just my brachioradialis. I'm assuming that this is the muscle based on images of the forearm anatomy and where I'm feeling the pain. It could also be the extensors, but it feels more like the Brachioradialis. Nothing out of the ordinary anywhere else. I'm trying to figure out what would have caused this?

Here are all of the upper body exercises that I did on Wednesday.
DB Hang Cleans to DB Overhead Press
One Arm Cable Rows
One Arm Pull Down from high pulley
One Arm Pushups
DB External Rotations

I also did a few sets of cable pull throughs, and Single Leg Squats with a DB. I mention this because they involve gripping something and obviously that has an impact on your forearm muscles. When doing the SL Squats I held the DB out in front of my body with a neutral grip. So, I was resisting adduction of the wrist.

The only things that are new are the SL Squats with a DB and the External rotations. I've been doing SL Squats, but not with a DB held out in front. Everything else is something I've done before without any apparent issues, though in the case of the Single Arm Rows and Pulldowns it has been several weeks.

Any idea what is causing this? Is it holding the DB out in front while doing SL Squats? Any way around this?

Is it just regular sore, like DOMS? If so that's probably not too bad, although it would be curious it's on both arms.

Since I'm nursing a sore shoulder, I'm going to blame the external rotations, just on principle. How much weight were you using?

Yes, its like DOMS. The only reason why I'm concerned is that I'm just getting over a bout of Medial Epicondylitis and I want to be very careful about my elbows. Epicondylitis takes too long to heal and I want to avoid it like the plague. So, I'm trying to find out if there are any movements that I need to avoid.

The weights were light. Only a 10lb. DB for External Rotations. 3 sets of 10 reps. I'd never done them before so I wanted to take it easy. On the SL Squats I was using a 15lb DB for 4 sets of 4 reps on each side.

well, the bracioradialis doesn't originate from the medial epicondyle.

pulldown and rows would work it as it's an elbow flexor. Holding something, specially with a straight arm, makeing it more stressful for the elbow, would also use the bracioradialis.

Thats why I suspected the SLS's were the culprit. Not the Squats themselves but holding the DB in that fashion.

Knowing that the Brachioradialis doesn't directly have anything to do with the medial epicondyle is a relief.

yeah, medial is on the inside of the arm, the brachioradialis runs on the outside of the arm.
