Default Matt Perryman's book...

Hey people -

I don't get over here to post much. I tried posting this in the offers by our experts section but I don't have access to it supposedly. Figured it was the next best place.

Matthew Perryman. Some of you may know him as powermandl... he used to frequent this community and offer up a lot of great advice. Regardless, he's a downright smart guy when it comes to lifting weights and stuff. :p

Hands down, in my opinion, he is one of the best in the biz when it comes to presenting complex topics in easily understood ways. To boot, he's one of the most knowledgeable guys I've talked to in the fitness industry.

I've been waiting for him to release his book which he's been working on for quite a while. Finally, he has. For reasons I won't get into here, he decided to try and shake things up a bit. He has made his book free. I'm unsure about this as I feel people might devalue the product to a point where they don't take it seriously. This would be a big mistake, however, as anything Matt puts out is typically worth its weight in gold.

Maximum Muscle: The Science of Intelligent Physique Training

I've got a good chunk of the book done already and it's really fantastic. And if this has been posted already... please feel free to delete this thread.

Yea you won't be disappointed. It's better than any book I've read dealing with hypertrophy and those I paid for, lol.

My thanks for the heads up on this as well, and I agree completely with all of your comments, stroutman81.

Seriously folks, everyone on this forum should take advantage of this opportunity and nab themselves a free copy. If you don't care for the torrent download, it can still be acquired otherwise; check the thread for it on Matt's forum under "Article and Book Discussions". And of course, a HUGE thanks to Matt

Isn't the idea that if somebody likes it that much, they make a donation through paypal?

Wow, this looks great. Not a picture book for once. I love the section on periodization. As a book editor, the copy looked fairly clean to me, at least at first glance. This looks like a good candidate for publication. But thanks for making it available.

Yes, I would hope so too. And again, I'll point out that you don't have to download it by torrent if you don't care to (and I didn't care to; the link I used was ok'd by Matt himself in the thread I got it from on his forum). The "donate" button on the "Maximum Muscle" page will still function regardless of the download source .
