Hi Samaral! Congratulations on taking some great steps.

It might be easier for people to give advice if you ask more specific questions or tell us more about your goals (such as "I want to lose X number of pounds of fat by Y date" or "I'd like to do Z athletic event next year")... break it down into smaller pieces.

Good luck!

Hi and welcome
It might be helpful to know things like gender (sorry, screen names aren't telling), general health, why you are looking to lose weight and fat, how much you would like to lose, do you have access to any equipment (gym, weights at home). You might want to tell about your current life habits and schedule, how you eat, how do you feel training, why you do what you do (cardio?).
Getting in shape is a learning experience and you have come to the right place.

you don't know how to spell correctly the state you're living in?

Hi Samaral

Welcome aboard. I would suggest that you look to some kind of strength/weight training program. Since you aere unemployed now, I would have a look at the FAQs for free programs. HGM is good for someone who does not have a lot of equipment. If you have no access to equipment you could look for bodyweight exercises (there are two I think in the FAQs for programs)

Lookto what you eat first- a calorie is a calorie but some cals (like protien) will fill you up more so they may be "better" in helping you get to your goal of weight loss than an "empty calorie" full of crap (say a twinkie- with low saiety. )

I am not big on counting but prefer to cut bad stuff and let the rest take care of itself. From where you are starting, anything would be a good start. Knock off the night snakc ( all snacks if possible). A real killer is drinks- knock off soft drinks and juices - if you didn't squeeze - don't drink it. Basically drink water tea and black coffee. You will be amazed what a difference that will make.

AS FOR EXERCISE, without knowing more about you - I would say start slow- (better to make slow initial progress that to hurt yourself and be off exercising for 6 months) .

Have a look at some of the programs, out line your goals and equipment and a realistic time commitment and you will find that there are a lot of nice people here who will who can help.

Good luck and welcome
