Default Medvedev's principle?

I read reference to Medvedev's principle regarding training volume. My google searching is simply yielding results related to politics and math. No search results here, either.

Can anyone clue me in?

I don't have his book (get it at EliteFTS) but believe it's along the lines of "beginners" needed ever increasing volume and intensity in a non-linear scheme for the first 4-6 years, but that older/experienced athletes should decrease volume but raise intensity.

Pretty much what you see others like Westside, Dan John etc... recommend.
