Default Summit games: JP and Nick go at it

I finally downloaded all the photos and video off my little digital camera, so I spliced together a short video of some of the games Nick and I did at the Royals' game. Enjoy!

I will post up some pics of our golf game in a bit. You can't tell from the photos, but Nick totally spanked me on the golf course. Regardless, it was a ton of fun!

If anyone else has some video they would like for me to edit and post on youtube send it to me via email.

Where do I submit a complaint? This title is misleading. I was expecting to see some HAWT mano on mano action here. now I'm all disappointed and stuff.

Heh... Well, just you wait for those golf pics. Think "the 300" with golf clubs. Oh yeah, that hot!

Ha. Bidge took Nick deep to the Crawford boxes on a 3-0 count.

JP also made much more contact than Nick but Nick has a pretty batting stance except I can't for the life of me figure out why he's letting go of the bat. It's not like he was swinging that hard. Good stuff guys. The KC stadium has way more stuff for guys to do than the Houston one.

I was so far out in front (as evidenced by the lunging.)

There's a delay from when the pitcher's hand would release the ball on the video screen to when the ball would come out of the openng. It was enough to get me to load up and get ready to go, and then wait, the ball's not here yet.

I understand the realism they want with the pitches as well, but it seems kind of dick to throw you sliders in the dirt when you're paying to hit the pitches. What else are you supposed to do? Take them?

It would be cool if you could lay off them, draw a walk and get another AB as a reward.

Looked like a great time!

Refer back to Aoife's post... "Biggie-O" fits the theme.

This is for Aoife... Just imagine the golf clubs are spears. And imagine we have glistening 6-packs. Oh, and imagine we're hawt.

Oh, and for the record, Nick crushed me in battle that day. But that is okay, because next year I will destroy him. Oh yes, he will be a quivering mass of gelatinous defeat.

I beat him 44-55, and had I putted better than a toddler, it would have been even worse.

4 consecutive changeups? Not much of a change after 4 of 'em

Oh, well. At least you made solid contact at the plate. Oh wait...That was JP

They had a batting cage like that at ESPN Zone in Baltimore when I was living in Baltimore a few years back, and I admit I had trouble making good contact. The screen is kind of distracting.

Golf swing looks pretty good except for a bit of a chicken wing with the front arm on the last pic of you.

I'm not Jamie Moyer. I don't have changeups for my changeups.

yeah, that last picture was on #5, which is a long par 4. I hooked that drive slightly (something that's a rarity) but it was easily playable just in the rough. (deathly afraid of the patented strong fade/slice on that hole because anything off left is in the shit and gone for good)

I actually drove over the green on the next hole (short par 4) into the wind. But then barfed the chip and ended up parring or maybe even bogeying.

I didn't get a shot of it, but on hole #7, Nick crushed his drive and actually drove the green on a par 4. It was pretty impressive. It was the shot of the day without a doubt.

In defense of the nipples, we did get rained on pretty hard intermittently throughout our game.
