Ok, I hope this question makes sense....

What kind of routines do you think are better for muscle development.....(not program names)..

the upper body/lower body splits(4 days a week),
1 bodypart per day....
full body 3x week....?(assuming all are done with compound movements)

I know there is no perfect answer, and everyone is different....it's just funny how other boards/forums(t-mag,MH,MF etc..) differ in muscle philosophy....

ooh... good question!!

Personally, I think for the average lifter most of the time, an upper/lower of push/pull split works the best, followed closely by total body.

There are certainly times when 1 body part per day routines work well, and for certain people. But I think on average, more frequent muscle stimulation is a better way to go
