Default High Frequency Focused Training - Anyone Heard Of It?

I recently read an article about a training method called High Frequency Focused Training, but for the life of me I can't recall the source. It seemed to mix the ideas/philosophies of the traditional full body and typical bodybuilding programs.

It seems like it's a lot of training, but it's not meant to be followed for more than 12 weeks at a time, so it might be worth a shot.

Have any of you folks seen this program before?
What are your thoughts?
If you have some objections to the program, what are they?
How would you improve upon it, if you were to execute this type of training in your own program?

The nuts and bolts of the program are as follows:

Monday:
*high frequency portion*
squat, 5x5
deadlift, 5x5
bench press, 5x5
**focus portion** (chest/arms)
incline db press, 3x10
flat flye, 3x10
db curl, 8x10
dips, 8x10

Wednesday:
*high frequency training*
squat, 5x5
power clean, 5x5
overhead press, 5x5
**focus training** (legs)
lunge, 3x20
leg extension, 3x20
leg curl, 3x20
calf raise, 2x20-30

Friday:
*high frequency training*
squat, 5x5
deadlift, 5x5
bench press, 5x5
**focus training** (back/delts)
pulldown or chin, 4x10
pullover, 4x10
lateral side raise, 3x10
bent over raise, 3x10

Weeks 1-4: full program
Week 5: perform only the high frequency portion
Weeks 6-10: full program
Week 11: perform only the focus portion
Week 12: rest week

No idea what it's called, but look similar to something I played around with in the past. Every workout had a heavy 'big' exercise from 2-3 of the 6 planes of motion. Each workout also had a more iso exercise in the 8-10 rep range to complement the big exercise. For time constraints I would also throw in some supersetting on the big movements (ie, bench/row, pullup/shoulder press, etc...)

It worked well for getting stronger, but really wore me out.
