Default ab slide and other ab exercises

At my college we have a stupid gym where here are no captain chairs, no decline benches nor a swiss ball.

ok so I have a routine for working out and it includes sit ups, hip raises on a dip machine instead of captain chair and i do bicycle kicks.
But I find the sit ups are not doing much. no matter how many reps I do it doesnt hurt anymore like it used too?

is an ab slide a good thing to use cause I have one but I stopped using it a while ago. But it worked well! I got a six pack for a while... then it went away. I stopped using cause someone told me its not so good to use but I dont know if they know what they were talking about.

if thats not good, does anyone know any good ab exercises?

Planks (and variations of them), cable woodchops, pallof press, hanging leg raises, barbell rollout to name a few.

But at 124lbs, you shouldnt worry about doing a bunch of ab work. Starting eating some food and lift heavy stuff. The abs will come.

You might want to check out this thread...look familiar?
Help for the tiny guy!

So you basically stopped performing an exercise that you figure you got good results from...because someone told you it was not so good? Re-read your response...if it worked well for you in the past, chances are it will work good for you again. Maintain your nutrition and throw in some inchworms--you'll be good to go.

I found that renegade rows work for me.
