It's not much to some of you, but this is a hurdle I've always had in the past and I'm in such a good mood today because I conquered it. This morning I woke up a little late, couldnt get myself out of bed and just really didnt want to do my morning HIIT. Normally in the past I'd have skipped with some sorry azz excuse and hit the shower and got ready for work. But today, even though I really didnt want to... I got my butt on the bike and did it. And I went all out! I feel great! I'm proud of myself and I just had to share this with people who would understand conquering a hurdle, no matter how small.

Wow! We must be on the same wavelength. Monday was deadlifting day early in the morning. Then after work two hours of mowing the lawn. I just did not want to get out of bed this morning. But the guilt kicked in and I did my HIIT on the treadmill. Feel proud, my friend. There are a lot of folks catching extra Z's and looking like shit.

You know it always amazed me how people can say things like, wow 7am, I never want to be up that early.
I bet alot of us are up and in the gym by that time alot of days!
Congrats on the HIIT victory, my bike to worm this morning was rained out so I am haunting forums feeling lazy. Stupid early mornings

That's cool!!
I just kind of started training again (lazy ass syndrome). Anyway, I planned to go for a run last night after work but my wife had to work late and didn't get home until 9.
It was dark, cloudy, about 50 degrees, and it looked like it would rain any minute. Usually I would say forget it and flop on the couch and watch TV but instead I went out for a run. I had a very good run and felt great afterwards..

Good Job, everybody. It's easy to cave in and put that dreaded workout off. It says a lot about you when you complete it on a day where you just aren't motivated.

Yes, congrat's!
Those are the workouts that matter.
Most any of us can train on a 'good' day - it's when we are tired, hungry, stressed and so on...and we still 'bring it'...those are the day's that build true grit.

You guys are the best! It's good to have words of praise from those that you have a great deal of respect for. It's also nice to have a place to come and post little moral victories.
I'm glad I could motivate some of you. Shucks, I'm all embarassed now. I guess that's why we're here, to support and "push" each other.
Thanks again all.
*edit* Oh and I understand what early is too my brothers. I'm up at 4:50am for HIIT and to work at 6:00, are we "crazy" or what? ha!

I wish I could do that. I used to be able to workout around 6:30 but kind of lost that because there is no one to spot me at my gym at that time. Maybe I will get back into it. Who knows.
