Mind putting up a Top 5 of the best things you learned from all the experts? Anything from personal weaknesses, form correction, nutrition stuff you didn't know, etc.

That'd be great!

p.s. Leave out the "I learned that ninja wears pink briefs" kinda thing. I don't need to know!

It's tough to post 5 things. Still getting my mind around all of it...

But I guss number 1 for me - I really enjoyed the science lessons. How your CNS & muscles respond to different "types" of training. (All the different rep schemes in all the workouts just seemed like so much hocus pocus to me until now.) Covering just this subject took a lot of time at the retreat but it was worth the time spent. In this, Chad taught us the underlying priciples to help us design our own workouts. He offered his own recommendations for reps/set schemes related to various goals.

All of this is hard for me to put into 5 bullet points. Sorry...I suck at that.

RH, I left my folder and notes at JPs - after he sends it to me, I'll give you a recap.

Jimbo, dude! You need to introduce yourself! Sorry I didn't talk to you. You were behind me at the lecture and I didn't see you at any of the social events.

Cool. Yeah, I saw Bond summarize some of those schemes from Chad.

I'll be waiting, K!

Sorry Kaiser...Yeah...I don't mean to be anti-social.

Fact is...I really really wanted to be at the social events but my wife and I...well...let's just say we're not on the same page and haven't been for a while. Things aren't good at home and I'm not too great a mood these days. I guess I was a bit distant during the retreat because of home stuff. But everyone really seemed like awesome people. I look forward to next year. I'll try and be more available next year. I was there but I feel like I missed out on a lot of the best part...the fellowship.

But I felt even worse for Rev. Anybody heard from him?

Sorry to hear that - of course, first things come first. Best of luck.

I think Rev posted something about it, but it sounds like he is swamped with stuff he has to do. It is too bad about him - apparently I was one of the few who actually got a chance to talk to him.
