I read somewhere that the body can retain as much as twenty pounds in impacted waste. Is this true? and if so, what type of supplement can I use to remove it?

Hm... maybe you should see a bad proctoligist. A bad one has many enemas!
You could try increasing your fiber a bit if the first suggestion doesn't work.
