That one cracks me up now more than ever!

{yes, I stole that gif from another post here somewhere}

I have a few more years of personal experience with this now and I realize now how naive that is. Yes, it's normally people who haven't trained long and I understand what their concern is but JUST TRY TO GET TOO BULKY (not fat, muscle!) and let me know how fast that happens! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!

I woke up this morning 200 pounds heavier. Then someone pissed me off and I turned green and became all ripped and huge and now all of my clothes are ripped to shreds. All of the muscle is causing huge problems, especially since I have to buy a new shirt every time I flex and I've never seen anything bigger than XXXXXL.

So...what supplement do I take to tone up?

I had ran into that problem a few years ago!i had been using the right suppliments to start with however i realised that it was making me look really fat in the end,so i went down to my local store and bought this producted called "nitro-tech" it worked great in the end!on the box it says it gives greater lean mass which i believe is what you are looking for!there should be loads of suppliments at your local store for creating lean mass dude!

Also add cardio to your workout,swimming is excellent for toning down your body as it boasts your bodys muscles to the max,also things like hitting the heavy bag for 20 minutes before workout is great!Oh andif you have use of a rowing machine do that until you feel like your body is going to shut down each time and i promise it will shred the pounds off you and make you look toned aswell as a mountain of muscle!

anyway if anyone else has better advice go ahead as everyone has another point of view!but adding cardio to your workout is essential for looking good!

Thanks for the response but maybe you just don't know me well enough to understand my sense of humor or maybe I didn't make it clear enough.

I was just joking around about how some people - most of them fairly new to training - say things like "I don't want to get TOO bulky" like they are going to turn into Arnold after a few weeks of working out. My point was just that, after years of working out pretty religiously, there's no concern whatsoever of me looking like Arnold!

I'm not even actually trying to bulk up, personally, just making off the wall comments about people's misconception about what it takes to actually get there. As to supplements, I take my protein and my daily multivitamin but not much more than that. I'm not into all that. I'll stick to trying to keep working hard in the gym, eating a decent diet and living an active lifestyle and leave it at that.
