Not a runner, but I use it occasionally for lifting or strongman workouts. My big ass thighs run when I walk, I can't imagine running for long periods of time.

I don't have that problem often but on game days I wear long bike short under my uniform and it helps.

Get some under armour compression shorts, I have never had a problem with chaffing.

Yup as above...but if you sweat like me, use talc (medicated is better) inside them too....or you'll just trade chaffe for rash.
