Neil, Amtrak is really pretty convenient, and the train station is about 10 min at most from the Plaza. You can take the bus to and from the hotel to the station, or we can pick you up. It is a very viable option, and if time really isn't much of an issue, I'd think it would be worth the savings.

I might as well mention this now in an effort to get more people to sign up (ha!) but we're going to the Royals game on Thursday night for those of you that want to/are coming in on Thursday. If you don't want to go, there's plenty of shopping and entertainment on the Plaza, so it's not like you'll be stuck in your hotel room if you don't go.
