Definitely point him to the ABBH or Anti-bodybuilding hypertrohy workout. There's even a link go the t-nation article in my post about full body workouts.

yeah, the sets/reps schemems might bug him but tell him it's the best way to go.

How about the Waterbury Method?
The subtitle tells all.
The Waterbury Method: Get Big. Get Strong. Get On With It!

Personally, I'd read a lot of CW's routines, but started with this one for one simple reason: It actually spells out which lifts to use and when.

The others are more "user created" based on his set/rep schemes. He gives you the set/reps shemes and you pick upper/push, hip dominant, etc. Still good, but I wanted to start with one that I new was good.

I'm interested in trying another routine, but I liked this so much that I'm repeating it now. We'll see what happens at the end of this four weeks...

Most of his programs are based on a mixed goal of adding mass and strength in one program. I plan to do ABBH in a week or two as it looks great.

If he's relatively well-versed with training, have him perform my Waterbury Method program. It's outstanding for both size and strength.

I think Max-OT is okay, but in looking at Chad's programs, I really would choose his out of the two. Although I haven't personally tried Chad's programs, yet..hehe..I like what I see in reading them. And I know a lot of guys here have had success with them.

How about Craig's TT for Mass. I am just started that yesterday. He would have to pay for it, and since Chad's is free I would assume he wouldn't buy it. But if you get it you can get Craig to tailor it to his needs. CB is excellent for answering questions on any of his routines and gets back, usually within a day.
