So I have just begun to get back onto the forums due to a job location change and I see that MH is full of newcomers and this place has several of you old geezers. So has MH just become a place some of you don't care for anymore or are you all just diversifying your portfolio? Good to be back and good to see some old names. I look forward to be around again.

It's good to see you back in the saddle. There was a big falling out some time last year with MH and we all moved over here. I'd bet there are more than a couple old names you'll know.

Hey Rookie! Long time no talk to! Yeah, I can't tell you the last time I even checked that forum. It got really frustrating over there. As Deserve said, there are more of the old MHers in here than you probably realize. We all run a tight ship over here, so it is a very active forum devoid of the 100 posts an hour by 13 year olds wanting Brad Pitt abz (we get them occassionally), and it is closely moderated so there aren't the rampant, unchecked flame wars that became regular fodder over there.

How's life treating you? What's your new job? Are you still a police officer? You still keeping up with your fitness?

Wow... member number 122. You are one of the originals!

Hey, Rookie.

I was just thinking the other day about how I missed reading your old cop stories. Actually I was thinking about all the guys who did HGM at the same time (the MH forum glory days) and your named popped up.

How you doing? Are you still in Charlotte?

Howie

Glad to hear from you Rookie. I wanted to ask you if you have started the Barly Legal Workout that we were talking about yesterday? I still look around at MH some but hardly post anymore because people are very close minded over there. There are a bunch off off topic post to that tend to get annoying.

Hey Rookie!! Glad to see you back in the saddle. I hardly go to MH anymore except to laugh at some of the crap. Tell us what's been going on.

Good to see you back, Rookie. I remember you from the MH forum days. We've got a great thing going here, man.

I've been reading MH again recently, but I find it pretty frustrating all in all. Bunch of guys who want advice and then ignore it when it's given.

Jp's place is way better.

Og.

Now see, this is what I have been missing out on. Thanks guys. I am still in Charlotte and the new job is still in homebuilding, I gave the cop thing up a few years ago. The change is that I am just starting a new development so for a good while I will be able to be at a desk and able to check the boards again. I have definately kept up the fitness thing and was hoping I would win the powerball yesterday so I could quit work and open my own line of fitness centers. Anyway I cut down last spring to 9% Bf and down to 169. That was way to thin but I had good success bulking and am back at 182 or 183 and exactly 10% body fat. I took this week off to recover and will be going back next week after a weekend getaway to the mountains and doing the Barely Legal routine in this months MF.
JP glad to see this place so active. I joined a while back when the posts seemed to be a few days apart. Great job.

Just so those that don't know me will know who they are talking to here is a few pics. Some are pretty dated and a couple are from this spring.

Rookie, I remember you dropping off the MH board when you had to go out into the field more. Sounds like you've been successful in the homebuilding biz. Congrats. Nice work on the stats too - 182 and 10% is pretty much where I'd like to be - got the weight up now but gotta drop the BF a bit. I can't imagine you at 169 - you must have been a rake.

Tried to check out your photos, but the link isn't working - just takes you to the yahoo photos sign-in page.

Hey, rookie! Nice to see that you stopped by! I hope that you can hang out with us "old hands" over here. This is a much more pleasant forum with a greater range and variety of knowledge. I certainly prefer it to MH.

Anywho, it's great to hear from ya!

J-Man! Great to see you here. I didn't know where you had been hiding. My posting may be sporatic during the day; someone has to get out of the office and kick ass. But for the most part I will be around for a while.

Geez, Rook. You're getting posts from all the old folks.

Can posts from Freeze416, Kahunalei and cbass007 be far behind?

Rookie,
Great to have you back. I guess I can be considered a veteran. And, I still post over at MH. They have some good guys over there, too and I like to keep the connection with my roots. I come here for the knowledge and friendship, but have friends on both forums. Welcome back to the ranks.

MH forums grew REALLY lame. Before I left there was an invasion of kids who thought creatine was the cure to their lifting ills. They there was one kid who somehow thought doing DDR and eating meatball grinders was going to turn him into a cover model. People would ask the same question over and over instead of scrolling back to see if they had answers from before. Think of it as the Invasion of the Noobs.

Good lord, I hope not. Difference now is that I have the power to remove them before they drag my forum down.

Freeze reappeared on MH the other week. Hurled abuse and left. Hasn't been back since.

AHHH so that's what happened to MH forum! I'll have to thank.. who is it? Freeze416, Kahunalei and cbass007 ... You'd all still be there, and this forum wouldn't be what it is and I probably never would have gone on MH forum.. *glad to be here*

oups.. and Hi Rookie.. I'm not one of the "old geezers" but was lurking on this thread, and decided to butt in.. but now I'll butt out

Great to hear from every one. And thanks for the welcoming. I just got back in town from a hiking trip where the wife and I had to rope climb up some rocks just to get to the top of the waterfall. My ability to do that was made so much easier by all the advice you guys have helped me with over the years. Lets all make sure to keep this up for ourselves and those just joining in.
