call me crazy, but that looks more like a snatch than clean. Also, because she's seated, its a seated clean, not a power clean.

Yeah, thanks....WHY?
You should perform every movement standing if you don't have a ceiling issue. You activate the core more and a ton of the small muscles used to stablize your upper body. It would be foolish to do otherwise unless there is a reason that prevents standing.

I guess if you wanted to take a perfect lift that uses the entire body, and make it a upper body isolated lift, then it would work, but it really goes against the purpose of olympic lifts.

That's what I thought when I read the title of the thread.
Why the hell would you want to clean sitting down?

I not saying I do it or like it because I don't, but it is a move that powerlifters employ on upperbody days. I guess the reasoning in the isolation would be that
a. the legs need the rest
b. it forces the upper body to work harder as it gets no help
but like I said these are just my guesses and heck I'd do them standing too

Seated cleans are typically used as an assistance exercise in powerlifting. Training for powerlifting (specifically Westside, but other styles as well) is all about finding where the weak points are in the three competitive lifts, and strengthening those weak points. If you strengthen the weak point, the lift as a whole will be stronger.
Seated dumbbell cleans specifically target the upper back and posterior delts. They aren't meant to replace, or even simulate Olympic cleans.

Yeah, I'm sure BB was asking about adding this to his program for ASSISTANCE work. I assume if someone is asking how to do a movement for the first time, and also knowing BB's knowledge of program building, that he isn't doing STANDING cleans and ALSO doing them SEATED for assistance. That is why I laugh.
And Name dropping does nothing for me. I care could less what Dave or Louie do in the gym. If I did, I would also shot vitamine S into my ass each day...
So, HAHAAHAHA.

Im pretty sure that Axis was addressing the confusion from the video. Im the only one who told him the form was good in that vid, but it seems like he skipped it.

Im not name dropping, Im just stating the source of where he's getting his info. But go ahead and laugh, your lack of contribution to this thread is amusing.
