OK gang, I'm looking for a bit of advice/encouragement, from people familiar with the program) regarding my progress thus far. I am a *bit* disappointed, but not hugely.

Here's my results (I won't outline the program, those that have done it will know the drill:

Week 1
Day 1: 10/6/3/4/3
Day 2: 1/2/3/4/5/6/2
Day 3: 9 sets of 4
Day 4: 9 sets of 4, one set of 2
Day 5: 1/2/3/4/5/6/4
Total for the week: 148

Week 2
Day 1: 10/6/5/4/3
Day 2: 1/2/3/4/5/6/6
Day 3: 9 sets of 4
Day 4: 14 sets of 4, one set of 3
Day 5: 1/2/3/4/5/6/4
Total for the week: 175

Week 3
Day 1: 11/6/5/4/4
Day 2: 1/2/3/4/5/6/6
Day 3: 9 sets of 4
Day 4: 17 sets of 4, one set of 3
Day 5: skipped - work schedule
Total for week - 164 (4 days)

Week 4
Day 1today) 11/6/5/5/4

I'm happy the totals are going up, especially for my Day 4 workout, but a bit miffed my one-set total has only gone from 10 to 11 in 3 weeks of this (although today, I almost made the 12th rep on the opening set).

For those that have done this program, is this the type of progression you experienced (i.e. increases in total reps, followed later by one-set max improvement)?

Thanks in advance.

I was going to start it within a few weeks here as I may have a PT test to take. I remember reading that in the first few weeks that you should see the numbers in the last sets increase before the first sets. I have not done the program myself but I do know a few that have done it and they swear by it. Keep up posted.

OK, some progress.

Week 4:
Day 2 - 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/4
Day 3 - 9 sets of 4
Day 4 - 22 sets of 4, one set of 3 (91 total)
Day 5 - 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/4
Week 4 total - 222!!

Week 5:
Day 1 - 12/6/6/4/4
Day 2 - 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/5
Day 3 - 9 sets of 5

Major breakthroughs on the Day 2 workout - never finished the set of 7 before last week. Also, completing 9 sets of 5 today really gets me fired up - never done that before either.

Arms and back are showing major improvement visually too.

The program says it should get your pullups from about 12 to 20 in 4 weeks which I feel is ridiculous, though I have made significant progress on the routine.
I've done it for 4 weeks and got my pullups up from 10 to 14 if I remember correctly.
Also as odd as this sounds, looking back at all the -=weight=- training I've done for my back, this basic bodyweight routine has brought the most visual improvements to my upper back and biceps than anything else
Just stick to it, a friend of mine is up from 11 to 18 by now and is still making steady progress!

Going from 12 to 20 in 4 weeks is BS, I agree - but I think the program says if you can do 12 to 15, it should take you to 20 in 4 weeks - so I'll believe going from 15 to 20 in that time. Like I said above, my oneset max has only gone from 10 to 12 thus far, but since the other workouts are showing major progress and the aesthetics are good, I'll hang with it for a few more weeks and see what happens.
