I`m in the middle i`d say, right now i use adult and add 1% BF to whatever it says, theres usually about a 3% difference between the child and adult ratings.

Those scales are not very accurate so it really doesn't matter. Get some callipers for an acurate bf%.

Go with whatever setting gives you the lower BF%, if you want my opinion.

From what I've heard from other people, those scales may not give you a very accurate body fat percentage, but they work pretty well at monitoring change. If you use it in that regard, either setting would work. If you're 16 though, your body type is probably more like that of an adult than that of a child.
