Heres a great post by Kim Baugher:
SLDL's (Stiff legged deadlift)and RDL's (romanian deadlifts) are two different exercises.
RDL = butt travels backwards, bar remains close to legs, knees bend slightly
SLDL = butt stays in the same position, bar may travel farther from body, knees are slightly unlocked but don't bend as much as an RDL, some people allow the back to round
I've also seen RDL and Keystone DL's used interchangeably, which isn't correct either.
Keystone DL - maximal back arch, knees only remain slightly unlocked, lower bar to around the tops of knees
RDL - flat back or slight arch, lower bar as far as possible, knees bend more at the bottom
I guess you could say that RDL's and Keystone DL's are a type of SLDL, but I wouldn't try to use the terms interchangeably.
God I love Craig's article, the only thing that would make the pics of that chick sexier would be if she were lifting 225lb or something. Beauty and strength are a sexy combo.
