For some reason I never made the connection that you were Alwyn Cosgrove, answering some of my posts even! I have read your article in the latest mens fitness issue like five times already. I love information for skinny guys like me! Thanks for the great article, I never thought that a nobody country kid from missouri could actually talk to the author of awesome articles I read in popular fitness magazines, sweet! This forum is amazing...I get to talk to people like Cosgrove, Schuler, Danny King, and tons more, sweetness, this is the best forum ever! ~ Rev

Gq, Danny... Truly, as much as the advice of the pro's has been very helpful, you two have done more to pull me into the world of fitness than anyone else.

Hell, Gq, the only reason i started going to the fitness board in the first place was because of you! Thanks a lot guys...

yeah its awesome, its in the...hold on let me get it. October 2004 issue of mens fitness, page 104, title: Lessons From A Hard-Gainer
it gives four common mistakes and how to fix them. theres a complete training program which is sweet in the back, its lower upper body split, i dont know who wrote that for sure but i like it, it resembles what i am doing as of the last two weeks. here are the common mistakes he addresses and fixes:
1 working out more than four days a week
2 choosing all the wrong exercises
3 thinking too big
4 hurrying yourself through
It's a great read, I like getting back to the foundation of training and refreshing myself like that and learning things I hadn't learned yet.

From now on, when we mention 'the King' we'll have to delineate who: Danny or Ian.

BTW, where the article or link to it?

I love you all. Remember these posts when I write a book someday

Seriously though guys, thanks for the kind words. Its awesome when someone throws my name in the same sentence with a guy like Lou or Alwyn. Its even better when the sentence isn't "Lou or Alwyn are so much smarter than Danny".

What are some of Alwyn's books? I think I've read where some of you mention them, but I don't think I've ever gotten any titles. I'd love to give one or some of his books a read.

Gq,

Thanks for bringing the obvious to my attention. It's getting late; my brain shut down two hours ago.

Well, there goes our "no Scotsmen" policy.

Probably next you'll have bald-headed guys sneaking onto the board, blinding everyone with their shiny skulls.

This place is going downhill.
