Ok, I started my first TT for women program and i'm still on the beginners phase, but I have been doing a lot of running. I have a track in front of my house, olympic size and very soft which is good for my bad back..I do one lap jogging, one lap sprinting.. average 8 laps then I gotta run all the way back to my house, which is another 1 1/2 mile so my question is, am I running too much to be doing turbulence training at the same time? Like the warm ups in the book are only 5 minutes long... meanwhile by the time I'm back from the track, it's been like 40 min.

On an interesting note, I feel tingling all over my body, like in my head, legs and arms, when I go from sprinting to jogging or from jogging to walking. As soon as I reduce the activity, blood feels like it's clogging. What is that?

Hmm, not sure about the tingling.

When I did TT for women I did a long cardio day running and about 2 sprinting days. I think the purpose of the sprinting is to not wear yourself out with the warm-ups and rests, so you can work really hard during the intervals. I'd walk between intervals and do a slow jog or even walk home when you're done.

And congrats on doing TT for women...if you want to read my old log when I was doing it...here it is:

Cappy's first TT log

Lots of side rambling, but you'll see the workouts are very similar. The first few weeks I was doing the original TT then switched to TT for women.

I've been following the program and I don't know, I'm used to more. Maybe because I'm still at the introduction part of it? I don't think I can do this and rest for 2 days. Hitting the track later on to do my own thing.
