4.3 is quite a lofty goal. What do you currently run, a 4.7 or a 4.8? And are these timed electronically, by a person, or a group of people? Just curious what your max parallel squat, hang clean, and vertical leap is? How tall, how old, and how much do you weigh? There is a lot of running info at Charlie Francis's website.

Good luck!

I'm going to be honest with you: the chances are very very very slim. The fastest time I've seen for a high schooler in my state (NJ) is Ryan Lindsey of Don Bosco Prep. He ran an official 4.29 this year, but was already running a 4.4 as a sophomore. He's ones of the best athletes in the state. So, honestly, I don't think you have a shot at 4.3. I'd love to see you prove me wrong. Work on your start and make sure your form is solid. The 40 time all comes down to the first 10 yards.

Thanks for the link Buk. I'll check that out.
