Default help a newbie

hello JP members,fficeffice" />

I know many of you are very skilled and educated in the "working our world"... so i need some of your input/advice.

Let me tell you a little about myself and my conflict so you can better help me.
I am 23 years old, female, work out occasionally.. around 2-3 times a week , doing resistance training and cardio at the gym and some at home (with my elliptical). At gym i do 10 mins of leg weight, 15 min elliptical...10 min abs, 15 min cardio...10 min arm weights (all these weights are light...legs are 70 pounds, arms are 30)
Recently i started using the cookie diet. Diet plan is I eat 3 cookies max (supposed to be 6 cookies) and regular meal at around 6pm (after gym).

My weight before diet was 125, the lowest i went was 119, however its currently at 122.

some other details that might help you: (sorry if they are not accurate, i am just starting)

time on diet; 3 weeks
bust size : 34'
waist: 31-32
pants size is 4, shirts size is small
i am bottom heavy , meaning my breast size is smaller compared to my bottom.
fat size: i believe its around 25-26

ok so my goal is obviously to lose inches all around, i consider my self thin and fit however my belly fat does stand out slightly.

my conflict?

i feel like i stopped losing weight already, maybe its related to my metabolism and how i might be eating too little?

but i am here for your help so give me all the input you can.

p.s. i also use my hula hoop at home, it has those massage balls attached to them, at first i had major black and blues but that went away after time

here is what it says:

meal replacement diet cookies contain his secret blend of amino acid food proteins that curb your appetite without drugs and enable you to stick to the diet that your own doctor supervises.

Okay, a quick google search tells me that each cookie is 90 calories. So you are eating 270 calories of cookies and a dinner. You are starving your body. Wow, I'm not sure where to begin here.

Ok, so I looked this up... these cookies are only 90 kcal each. So you're eating less than 300 kcal/day plus ONE meal???

First bit of advice: eat a balanced healthy diet of REAL food and stop wasting your money on this junk. Yes, if you are eating only one "regular" meal (as in, anything under 1000 kcal at this point!) you are likely under-eating.

The purpose of me doing this "starvation diet" is to get in quick shape for vegas...usually i am a very health conscious eater...typically (before this diet) i ate every 3 hours, no meat (my body doesnt digest it well), lots of vegetables and salads, soups, and fruit...about 1800 to 2000 calories a day...
I saw this diet and the success ppl had, so i wanted to try it, hoping it would work fast

im not looking to lose weight this way for the long term, but i would like to get thinner before i leave on vacation

morning, i would have an egg beater omelet with spinach/tomatoes...couple of hours into the work day, i'd have some kiwis, a little later, a banana/apple...then i'd have a salad (no dressing), when i get home i would have some soup and fish, or boiled potato, steamed veggies, and fish (or shrimp)

i stay away from carbs (but im not a fanatic about that, i dont like bread or pasta, but i eat wraps or potatoes occasionally)
i make sure to eat some sort of protein daily (usually fish...very rarely meat since i dont digest it well)

on occasion, i get colonics to help digestion (its a recurring problem, so thats why i have to eat bulky vegetables and fruits)

i drink a lot of water (but i am prescribed a diuretic for different reasons, so maybe that causes my occasional digestive issues)

I don't see any fat, very little protein and unless your portions are HUGE, nowhere near 1800-2000 calories. In fact, the bulk of your diet appears to BE carbs (mostly fruit and veggies).

again..i take very good care of my body, and i am comfortable with it...

this diet was simply to lose weight fast for a vegas (u know, all those hot people at the pool hehe)

the only thing i am worried about is that since i lost weight in the beginning, and now i hit a plateau, and gained some back...i am scared to start eating normally again (at least until i go to vegas) because i think my metabolism may have slowed and if i eat normally, i will gain...i think i should ease into my normal routine gradually, but i am not sure of how badly i damaged my body in these couple of weeks, and how to get back

As far as I know, your metabolism won't have slowed or been damaged in just 3 weeks - chill out about that.
You weigh 122 lbs for goodness sake - how fat could you be? How tall are you?

im NOT fat...i am 5'3''...my ideal weight would be 115...but i am VERY comfortable at 120...i just got a little afraid because of the 2 pound weight gain since i haven't been eating much....

thats my ONLY concern...i eat a balanced diet in general, so thats not an issue for me

again...the ONLY reason i went on this diet is to lose weight fast for vegas

so as long as i can be reassured that my metabolism is not damaged, i would like to resume my normal life and regular eating pattern

Spinach and Romaine have very little protein. If your metabolism is shot, it didn't get shot from a 3-week cookie diet, it's because your eating prior to that diet was poor. Eggs and fish are great protein sources, but you'd have to eat an awful lot of eggs and fish to get in your protein requirements. And NOTHING in your diet is giving you the fat you need.

i asked my brother (who is a professional dancer) and he told me it might be because of the weight training, and told me that for vegas i should focus on only cardio

would that be a good idea? if not, then how should i work out, should i alter it a little, or keep it? (keep in mind, this is for the most efficient work out for vegas, not as a life-style)

i do eat A LOT...so dont be fooled by what you think is not a lot...my portions are not "small" and i eat often (obviously as u see, the amount of food i wrote was not enough for a day eating at 3 hour intervals)

fish has enough fat, i cook with olive oil...i eat lox in the mornings sometimes too, and in the evening as well..

i eat cheese, and full fat milk...

i really cant go through EVERYTING i eat, but i do eat enough...ppl even ask me how i can eat so much (its quite alarming to see me eat that much)

my metabolism was great before this diet...i can eat whatever i wanted, and nothing would happen (healthy food only)

so the only thing that could have happened was this diet, so thats all im wondering about
