So in my CB email this morning he made mention he had some new stuff in Maximum Fitness that wouldn't be available on their website. So when I saw the mag after worked I picked it up.

So what do we have? A little pricey at first glance at $6.99CAD or $4.99USD. It is pretty large and is a 2 month magazine.

They sau it is formerly AHF, but no clue on the comparison here as I never read that one.

They say "No BS Just Results." on their cover.

What does the magazine contain?
A pretty complete workout and diet routine from Craig at the end of the magazine.

First few pages are a large amount of tips and such as we see in most magazines.

There is a few of those "Special 4 page reports" throughout the magazine as well.

The first actual workout you come across is 2 pages dedicated to arm curls by Alwyn.

Followed by a no crunch ab routine by Lee Davy NSCA-CPT, CFC

Listing of weird supplements

Motivational story

Alot of stuff for new guys, how to choose a good gym, advice on best lifts from trainers,

Article on cardio sins

A few ideas to spice up your nutrition

Ahh what fitness magazine would be complete without a fashion section?

Article on saturated fat.

A "gym less" workout by Ethan Boldt, NSCA-CPT to get lean fast

How to throw a football spiral!

Few misc mens articles: razors nutrition quizzes

Couple of sports articles.

For Kuri they have an article on america's "toughest" gym. It's a brazillian jujitsu gym in new york

All in all it looks good and I think I got my money's worth. There is a crap load of training articles, and a bit on nutrition. Certainly alot more content than filler I would say.

And hey it's got Alwyn and Craig in the same issue, that's gotta be worth my $7?

Yes, that is the goal of the magazine...to give as much fitness info as possible.

New issue comes out every 2 months...and I write the main workout every issue.

By the way, I didn't do the diet in there.

Well that is a little weird all in all. I hadn't taken to much of a look at the diet, I think I have a clue in this dept.

On that side of things if it means some new guy goes from eating 2 or 3 large fries to 1 small fry a week, it's a good thing.
