Default Tuff Stuff brand products

I've got a lead on a Tuff Stuff full cage with cable attachment on craigslist. The lady that I talked to doesn't have the manual and doesn't know the model number. So I have a dilemna.

Without knowing the model number or anything, I can't find any reviews or info on weight capacity. Does anyone have experience with this brand of cage?

I saw a Weider cage on craigslist last week and was thinking about getting it. Then I found a review online saying that the hooks would only hold about 300lbs total, which is what kept me from buying it. I'm looking to get something heavy duty.

I'm afraid to snatch this up quickly for fear that I might have buyers remorse due to lack of research. But I'm also afraid to let a good deal pass me by.

Price is $450, comes with a bunch of attachments, and ironman bench, about 300lbs of weight, weight tree, and some rubber flooring.

HOME GYM; TUFF STUFF CAGE, CABLE, ETC

It looks like the front posts don't have any peg holes in them. So everything would need to be done inside the cage. Anyone see any other drawbacks from the pictures?

I have 2 pieces of Tuff Stuff equipment: a rack and a lat pulldown station. I'm very pleased with the quality. I've never done anything over 315#, so I'm not sure how much higher you can go. Just looking at it, it certainly wasn't going to collapse - but if you're doing really heavy weight, I'm not sure this stuff would be strong enough. You might want to call Tuff Stuff directly. I also bought mine at Gymsource, so they should know a lot about capacity, limitations, etc. They might be willing to help you if they think they'll sell you some further accessories? $450 for all of that stuff seems to be a good price too.

The item you're looking is seems similar to the RPR-265 RPR-265 Power Rack/CageHome Gym Equipment | Commercial Gym Equipment

I think that's the newer model. I couldn't find any sites that were selling the black/white model anymore. But even had that been it, it doesn't have any capacities rated.

I can't see myself needing to load it with more than 400 lbs in the next few years. So if most of the mid-range racks can hold 500+ then it shouldn't be a problem. I just don't want to find out the bad way that I bought a low-end rack that can't hold 300.
