Well, It's been a long and semi expensive project, but I now have no reason at all to every step in a public gym again.

Check it out. I just got a Digi Cam for Christmas so I hope I am posting these correctly.

More pictures to come tonight.

Sweet looks nice! Although I don't see any rings, sandbags or heavybags in there?

Congrats on the camera for xmas! I got one of those too!

Of course my "Training" center isn't as nice as yours, I might take a few pics of what I have at home so you can all mock me though!

You think he woulda at least put the curling bar in the squat rack in one of the pics, just to see how we reacted!

Very nice setup, NL. Are those plates with the skull on them? Very cool.

Man, I'm jealous of your dumbell rack. I hate changing weights on mine as I go through my warmups. Can literally make a workout take nearly twice as long. Nice power rack, wish they were a bit more affordable here .

I'm with beLean, where'd you get those mirrors? Also, what do you use them for besides watching yourself pump out those last few reps of heavy curls ? I'm just curious

JP, I had to sent the Smith Machine out for repair as I broke it when curling. Good thing I have a backup!

High/Low pulley on the left, and Box Squat setup in the cage. As you can see, it's very safe which is key.

ichbinba, Thanks. Maybe I'll post some curl shots tomorrow when it's arm day!

OG, Sandbags and Sled are in the shed for the winter...kinda sad, but pulling a weighted sled in 1 foot of snow sucks.

Old Guy, I put it back in the cage for you. Curling in the cage is fun and really saves your back!

Damn dude that is a sweet setup! I really dig the plates with the skulls, did you do that yourself? I might need to do that to some of our plates.

How is the training going anyway, I don't think I have seen many updates from you lately.

BjsAust, They are a great investment. I can't imagine having to pull 100+lb DB's off the ground, AND then pressing them. Makes a huge difference.

Belean and Kev, Mirrors are from Home Depot. They are made by Stanley and found in the bathroom section. About $50 for a 30 inch by 60 inch. I have 7 of them and they add a ton of light and allow me to see my form. Great for sex too.

Sweeeet, man! I'm wicked jealous.

Though I work in a gym, I'd still love a place to myself. Other people, "acceptable" music... bleh!

I want those skull-plates.

Mahler, Leave it to you to have the coolest response. I hope to meet you one day!

Marykaa, I'll bet your son loved it! And yes, it's great having a partner meet me here after work for lifting. Safe and clean.

DKing, Whats up bud! Great to see your lifting stronger than ever. Training has been going great! Haven't been posting as much since the kid came on Sept 6th, but training like there is no tomorrow. Yes, I made a stencil out of cardboard, a pencil, and a razor. A little While spray paint and voila! Bad Mother F#%#@r plates for $1.99. Your deadlift jumps like 60 lbs from the coolness factor once they dry. LOL.

Here is a cool banner from Alan at APT.

Shit I have missed a ton since I got busy with school, I had no idea you had a kid!

Well congrats on that a little late.

I really need to talk to the guy who owns all the stuff I train on about painting some Bad Mother $%^& plates, I agree on adding lbs to a deadlift. It would make me want to kill the weight. I am suprised more people don't have that idea.

I dig the banner, I have seen those at some contests, how did you manage to get a hold of one?

Danny

Rock and Doug, Thanks guys. Music selection a gyms can be the worst.

Danny, Thanks. He was 10 weeks early, but growing like a weed. 12lbs, 6 oz today. Must be the protein powder I add to the bottles.

Alan added the banners to his site now. And they are only like $20 bucks and high quality.

Heading to bed guys. Lifting early tomorrow AM and need my sleep.

THANKS FOR ALL THE KIND COMMENTS!!

Ivanko Bar with oil ports. Super smooth and my favorite piece in the gym.

Nyguy, that was how I sold my wife on the idea. We both use it daily and plan to for the rest of our lives!

Thanks for letting me play with my camera on line and bore you guys!

Good night,

Gymrat, Thanks Bud!

Kmwest, I want to say it was $120 shipped from NYBarbell. Very sturdy and I have dipped with almost 100lbs around my waist with no real movement. Highly suggested for the price.

This is a great looking gym, I hope I can get mine to look close to this when it's done.

I can't wait to close so I can start putting it together.
