Angry Serius shoulder blade injury after Scrany to Brawny program !!

Yes i admit it , i harly did phase 1 , i am too lazy , and i dont have much time , so i couldnt waste it with ridiculus and useless exercises.

Just very recently , after 5 weeks with the program i stopped because i was seeing no results...

Yes , shame again , but frankly it was worth it , cause i took a lot from the book , and the exercises that i do are all from it , and we could jsut say that i am prolonging phase 2 , but with varius exercises...

Since i left the gym after 3 years , for a couple of months , i lost all the "little" progress that i had gained after years...

But after following the plan , dropping it , going back to my // biceps , tryceps , shoulder and many chest , exercises , combined with the necesary nutrition from the book , i got amayzing results... but there is something in the way , something wants to stop my success...

It is the right shoulder...

I bench pressed in the wrong way for YEARSS i used to get the bar down until it TOUCHED my chest... BAD BAD BAD , cause i am paying fo r it now...

Now i bench press much much much better but many times i feel pain in the right shoulder while doing it... and i hate it...

This problem is with me ALL THE TIME , is not painfull at all ,well a little , but it really freaks my out , the thing is that everytime i move my right arm with too much freedom , I feel and HEAR a crack... Its disgusting , disgracefull , i hate it... , well , maybe i am too exagerated , but this really it ticking me off...

I am pretty sure it is the god damm shoulder blades , DAMMM , i have WAYYYYY to much front shoulder compared with my little shoulder in the side , the left shoulder is safe for now,, but ive been haivng this problem with the right one for two weeks already , and i cant take it anymore...

WHAT DO I DO??????

how do i fix this?

I saw some streching for mild internal rotation with a stick in the book , i have done that a couple of times, but it doesnt seem to be helping , plus is a weird strech

Guys i am really desperated , i need some serius advice here

Thanks all for reading

T-Nation has a major essay on shoulder blades today. Also I/O is about shoulders, its available via JP's sale site somewhere on this blog

I would suggest rewriting your question with better punctuation and phrasing (so we can understand exactly what you're talking about) and repost it in the injury section.

I stopped reading after the second "line." Phase 1 is hardly useless, but you justified it as such. Whatever. Then, you didn't see results after five weeks? Something tells me you have some pretty unrealistic expectations and likely some program ADD. Try again.

Try the injury and rehab section. Do a search on shoulder.

I caused myself some shoulder issues from too much pushing and not enough pulling.

Started religiously adding exercises like face pulls, Bent over lat raises, scap push ups..but only added those after specifically understanding my specific problem. (thanks to a lot of very smart folks right here.not the least of which was UconnJulie)

So get some knowledge about your injury/issue and go fom there.

PS - As you have hopefully realized, all that prepatory work in Scrawny to Brawny was designed to help you avoid this kind of issue. What seems like unnecessary work is really designed to keep everything moving as it should. Changing your bench press only keeps you from further injuring yourself it does not fix the issue. Good luck.

Sometimes the responses on this site are all the comedy I need to get through my boring day at work. Smiling on the inside... Alpha, you need to chill out bro... then realize that you aren't going to get anything out of working out but injuries unless you embrace deliberation and consistency. Go see an osteo for the shoulder. Good luck.

so you skipped the phase designed to set you up to prevent injury, you barely half-assed your way through it, and now you're crying about an injury?
