Default Program Advice

Hi Guys,

I am just about to finish up with NROL Strength I and rather than going on to strength II I thought of going back and doing another hypertrophy program. The reason being is that I am heading to the US for a 6 week holiday in just under two months time and I want to gain as much muscle as possible before leaving so I can strip back the fat while I am away (although I am weary of this considering the standard portion size over there! :P). It will be much easier to cut rather than bulk while away as I will be pretty active most of the time and wont have easy access to heavy iron.
So, considering I have come from Hypertrophy I, II, and now strength I, would you recommend going back to one of NROL’s Hyp programs or trying something new like Waterbury’s ABBH? I will only have 6 solid weeks of training before my trip if that makes a difference…

Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Jarrod

Wow. You're going to try and "cut" while on vacation? Good luck. You're gonna need it.

Haha! Well, yes.

In fact, the last big O/S trip I did I came back 5 kg's lighter. Admittedly,I am in much better shape now than I was then however holidays like this are typically energetic. My girlfiend isnt one to sit on her arse for too long so we are usually up and about doing something. We walk to most places if we can. It's a big change from the daily 9-5 computer chair norm. Not too mention I have been eating pretty hard and would be pushing 20% bf atm........... I am not expecting to come back at 10% but a few kilos of fat gone would be nice.

Nothing constructive to add here other than a vacation cut is more than doable (for me, anyway). I eat a lot at home, most of it planned, but on vacation, I cut a couple financial corners by going on a liquid diet much of the time Seriously, though, I do usually consume fewer calories and am generally MORE active on vacation than at home. Go figure.
