I'm not sure Nick, Michael, Gabe and Craig are helping with your marketing efforts, Jamie.

Did you even read why I wrote this? Morons...
Why not focus on some of the fun and normal things that you've done as friends? You know, things that don't scare off the people who don't know (and will never know from these posts) how nice, smart, polite, and NORMAL you guys are.
Ad hoc stuff included...
A bunch of you got together for a go-cart race competition.
Clinton Library visit (boooooring...)
Hiking
lots of dinner/hang out time
shopping?

No offense but I'm not taking off work and spending hundreds of dollars on gas money to quietly sit next to you guys in the dark!
I'm going for the relationships. Period. While the people here are largely responsible (at fault) for making me who I am today, Roland is right that it's not at all a clique. I'm as pumped about meeting Bacardio for the first time as I am about meeting JP for the... howevereth time. The training/nutrition stuff is a huge bonus, and if that's all you're going for then you certainly won't be disappointed.
Oh and in the roomate thread I scored a hot chick who'll be with me in the hotel. So I'm also going to the summit for the orgasms.

RL, you'd better not be in a room adjacent to mine. In fact, a different hotel would be preferable

I'll be signing up and booking the hotel this weekend - all flights and New York accomodation already in the bag

I'm going so that the off-topic subforum is well represented.

I shall have to prepare a sign for your door, ala Woody Allen, saying "Orgasmatron."

I'll be sure to have a couple shots of whiskey so I can give you some Barry White-esque mood music.
Not.

I read somewhere that Barry White impersonations are harmful to sea anemones. Thus your generous offer would be COUNTER productive to RL's goal for organisms.
Moran.

I love it when new people come to the summit too. Many of those end up coming year after year. For example, it's going to be great seeing kingkop again this year. What trek! And Galya's actually coming up early to spend a couple of weeks interning at my gym while she's in the states.
The core guys absolutely make this event a hoot (Mahler, Lou, Nick, et al), and they ALWAYS make the new guys feel comfortable and welcome. Hell, Mahler pays for some of them to atttend!
I'll try to do a count some time today, but I know that we have plenty of seats left, so if you're thinking about coming, sign up while there are seats left! I am releasing the reserved rooms this week (so I don't have to pay for them) so you need to get your reservations made ASAP!

The best reason for coming?
IF YOU DON'T COME, I WILL FIND YOU!
