Default Clean and press?

I know this should probably be in the training discussion section since it's not part of NROL4W, but I rarely venture over that way and felt more "comfortable" posting this here.
I decided to try the 300 workout (modified of course) on Friday to switch things up a bit before starting stage 6 on Monday. I think I can figure out how to do the floorwipers and everything else seems simple enough, but I've never done there "clean and presses" and would like to know if there are any good videos out there or if someone can tell me what I should be shooting for as far as form goes?
I did a search of youtube and found a horrendous video of a white-haired gentleman using a dumbbell that was obviously WAAAYY too heavy for him, as well as some others. From the looks of it, it resembles the 1-arm DB snatch from stages 3 and 5, but the DB goes back to the floor each time and it pauses at the shoulder before being pressed up like a DB press... is this right? How low should I be looking to get in the beginning "squat" position?
Any help/suggestions/corrections would be very much appreciateed, thanks!

Kara,

Don't be afraid to post in the training section...there are nice people there too and plenty of cross-over from this subforum.

I won't move your thread, but in the future be brave, be strong, go for the gusto!

In this thread, I told Barrett not to do the press part. But, you won't have to think as hard, since you want the do that part.
