Default Lost weight but in wong places

Hi I was tying to loose abdominal fat and did a lot of running in the pocess fo about 3 months (2 miles a day in 25 mins and abt 4 days a week). All that happened after 3 months was that I lost nothing but my thighs and ass that too really so much that all my pants which were pefect fit are now completely loose me, I know I should have taken measuements evey 1 or 2 weeks but didnt notice until after 3 months, why would something like this happen, I know this is a kinda foolish question but can I revese this pocess?

I know people say fat reduction from one spot is not possible but I am confused why it happened in my case, drastic change in thighs and buttocks and nothing else

Thanks!

I hope you didn't think that spot reduction was only possible for you

Seriously though, you should be doing some strength work to help maintain lean mass. Sounds to me that you lost some lean mass in your lower body if all you did was steady state cardio (running). You only have to look at most distance runners to see what I mean.

So...get on one of the great programs that you read about here and get some balance in your training

Running as a sole method of weight loss will not give you an athletic physique, if that is what you are after And if your time and distance is not a typo you are running at a very slow jog which also isn't the best fat burner (not slamming you I run at about the same pace). If you want to lose abdominal fat and not lose muscle mass you need to eat properly, find a good lifting program geared for your needs. If you enjoy running keep at it but if you are strictly looking for results I would suggest you find a HIIT program to work on 3 times a week.

Agreed, at least dome some bodyweight work, you can just go to a park and do pull ups, over head lunges/squats with a large rock, push ups, dips, ect.

the NROL fat loss programs are great - they'll help you loose fat while maintaining or even increasing muscle mass.
